Foundation Grant Program
All funding raised through the annual gala (VI VI) and the annual appeal (W Club) gets redistributed back into District 66 through the Foundation Grant Program.
Every October and January, all Westside Community School student-serving faculty & staff can apply for a grant through the Foundation. This funding initiative is designed to support teachers, administrators, and WCS in implementing innovative projects, improving teaching methods, enhancing student learning experiences, and addressing specific educational needs. The amount requested should align with the number of students the grant serves.
Grants are awarded based on the alignment with current funding priorities. All approved grants are viewed as a pilot program for the District.
