Funds raised through VIVI and the W Club Annual Appeal go right back into Westside Community Schools—supporting ideas that make a real difference for students.
Through the Foundation Grant Program, we empower Westside educators to bring bold ideas to life. Each October, we invite proposals that:
- Spark innovation in teaching and learning
- Increase student engagement and outcomes
- Address real challenges facing students
- Strengthen classroom and school experiences
These grants are more than support—they’re springboards. Each project is designed as a pilot, with the potential to grow and create impact across the district.
Why It Matters
While district funding covers the essentials, Foundation grants make the extraordinary possible—supporting everything from robotics and flexible learning spaces to mental wellness, arts integration, and field trips.
